“The Joy of Heaven”

My Friends,
Today’s Gospel: Luke 15:1-10 (The Joy of Heaven)
“Now the tax collectors and sinners were all drawing near to hear him. And the Pharisees and the scribes murmured, saying, "This man receives sinners and eats with them." So, he told them this parable: "What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost, until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, `Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost.' Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance. "Or what woman, having ten silver coins, if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp and sweep the house and seek diligently until she finds it? And when she has found it, she calls together her friends and neighbors, saying, `Rejoice with me, for I have found the coin which I had lost.' Just so, I tell you, there is joy before the angels of God over one sinner who repents."
Reflection:
Like the shepherd and the woman in today’s gospel; do you search and search to you find what you have lost? In other words, do you seek out those you know who have lost their way to God? We must do this for one another; search for, pray for, help guide, lead, unite with, do all we can, to help assist one another to get to Heaven. The greatest reward of all; the ultimate reason why we are all here is for that reason alone. God has given us each other, so that we may help one another in fellowship; to encourage one another and be there for one another, as we all continue on this journey through life together.
Almighty God does not want to lose even one of us. Let us pray for all of us, that we may have the wisdom to know that God wants us all in His fold. We should not judge anyone; God alone is the only one to have the authority to do that. We are only to pray for one another. Love and mercy and compassion is the job of a true child of God. Let us be the children God wants us to be, helping one another by example and leading others only to Jesus.
Today’s Gospel is about seeking and reward. Seeking and searching till we find! And the reward is the joy of Heaven! Our time needs to be properly spent in what we do. God has granted all of us time and the amount that is unknown. Some of us are blessed with 20 years, while others get 90 years; the only thing is, we don’t know our number. So, we need to live a life in preparation all the time. Like I write in so many of my blogs, live a life that is fully focused on Jesus. Read your bible every day, go to adoration weekly, go to Mass as often as you possibly can, go to confession as often as you possibly can, select a devotion like the Rosary and make it yours and pray it every day. Do all you can to have Jesus in your life constantly 24/7/365. This will do much for you. It will make you a better person, and it will help to keep you always prepared for Heaven. I am always praying for all of you every single day. Talk to you again tomorrow my sisters and brothers.
LOVE YOU GUYS !!!!
