My Friends,

Today’s Gospel: Luke 9:1-6 (Mission of The Twelve)
“And he called the twelve together and gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure diseases, and he sent them out to preach the kingdom of God and to heal. And he said to them, "Take nothing for your journey, no staff, nor bag, nor bread, nor money; and do not have two tunics. And whatever house you enter, stay there, and from there depart. And wherever they do not receive you, when you leave that town shake off the dust from your feet as a testimony against them." And they departed and went through the villages, preaching the gospel and healing everywhere.”

Reflection:
Do you believe Jesus has chosen you like He has chosen the twelve? Our Lord chooses very ordinary people like you and me to do the extraordinary to share and bring others to Himself. No special education, no special requirements, many times Jesus reaches out to the broken, the weary and even the oppressed to build His Kingdom. Once the Love and Mercy of Jesus is in our hearts, our lives are never the same, we are transformed. That transformation allows our Lord to work through us as we share our faith, our story and our love for our Lord and His Mother with others.
