We are a Group of 218…

Ambassadors of the Rosary

My Friends,
UPDATED LIST for Friday, June 27, 2014.
Every single Friday at Midnight (Eastern Standard Time) I will POST an updated blog, with new names of those joining us and the new mystery each of us will pray on that Friday… Thank you all for joining us. Let us begin this Rosary -as you would begin any Rosary -with The Apostles Creed… then Your Mystery...and end together with the Hail Holy Queen…
THE APOSTLE'S CREED
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, Our Lord, Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified; died, and was buried. He descended into Hell; the third day He arose again from the dead; He ascended into Heaven, seated at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

HAIL HOLY QUEEN
Hail, holy Queen, Mother of mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve: to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary!
Leader: Pray for us O Holy Mother of God,
All: That we may be worthy of the promises of Christ. -AMEN
(Optional)
Leader: Let us pray.
All: O God whose only begotten Son by his life, death, and Resurrection has purchased for us the rewards of eternal life; grant we beseech thee, that meditating on these mysteries of the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.
THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!

Benefits of Praying The Rosary
(Given to St. Dominic and Blessed Alan de la Roche)
1. Whoever shall faithfully serve me by the recitation of the Rosary, shall receive powerful graces.
2. I promise my special protection and the greatest graces to all those who shall recite the Rosary.
3. The Rosary shall be a powerful armor against hell, it will destroy vice, decrease sin, and defeat heresies
4. It will cause virtue and good works to flourish; it will obtain for souls the abundant mercy of God; it will withdraw the hearts of people from the love of the world and its vanities, and will lift them to the desire of eternal things. Oh, that souls would sanctify themselves by this means.
5. The soul which recommends itself to me by the recitation of the Rosary, shall not perish.
6. Whoever shall recite the Rosary devoutly, applying himself to the consideration of its Sacred Mysteries shall never be conquered by misfortune. God will not chastise him in His justice, he shall not perish by an unprovoked death; if he be just, he shall remain in the grace of God, and become worthy of eternal life.
7. Whoever shall have a true devotion for the Rosary shall not die without the Sacraments of the Church.
8. Those who are faithful to recite the Rosary shall have during their life and at their death the light of God and the plentitude of His graces; at the moment of death they shall participate in the merits of the Saints in Paradise.
9. I shall deliver from purgatory those who have been devoted to the Rosary.
10. The faithful children of the Rosary shall merit a high degree of glory in Heaven.
11. You shall obtain all you ask of me by the recitation of the Rosary.
12. All those who propagate the Holy Rosary shall be aided by me in their necessities.
13. I have obtained from my Divine Son that all the advocates of the Rosary shall have for intercessors the entire celestial court during their life and at the hour of death
14. All who recite the Rosary are my children, and brothers and sisters of my only Son, Jesus Christ.
15. Devotion of my Rosary is a great sign of predestination.

Blessing of the Rosary
1. Sinners are forgiven.
2. Souls that thirst are refreshed.
3. Those who are fettered have their bonds broken.
4. Those who weep find happiness
5. Those who are tempted find peace.
6. The poor find help.
7. Religious are reformed.
8. Those who are ignorant are instructed.
9. The living learn to overcome pride.
10. The dead (the Holy Souls) have their pains eased by suffrages.

Indulgences
from Enchiridion indulgentiarum Recitation of the Marian Rosary (Rosarii marialis recitatio)
An indulgence is the remission before God of the temporal punishment due to sins whose guilt has already been forgiven, a remission, which one of the faithful, properly disposed and under certain definite conditions, can acquire through the Church, which authoritatively dispenses, applying the treasure of the satisfactions of Christ and the Saints.
An indulgence is either PLENARY or PARTIAL, depending upon whether it frees one from the whole or from a part of the temporal punishment due to sin.
This means that one of the faithful who, with at least a contrite heart, performs a work enriched with a partial indulgence, is granted by the power of the Church that same amount of remission of temporal punishment as he has already obtained by the work itself. In other words, the remission is doubled, and that as often as the work prescribed is performed.  A plenary indulgence means a full remission of temporal punishment, provided that several other conditions apply, in addition  to the work performed or prayer said.
plenary indulgence is granted, if the Rosary is recited in a church or public oratory or in a family group, a religious Community or pious Association; a partial indulgence is granted in other circumstances.
  • "Now the Rosary is a certain formula of prayer, which is made up of fifteen decades of "Hail Marys" with an "Our Father" before each decade, and in which the recitation of each decade is accompanied by pious meditation on a particular mystery of our Redemption."(Roman Breviary) The name "Rosary," however, is commonly used in reference to only a third part of the fifteen decades.
The gaining of the plenary indulgence is regulated by the following norms:
  • 1) The recitation of a third part only of the Rosary suffices; but the five decades must be recited continuously.
  • 2) The vocal recitation must be accompanied by pious meditation on the mysteries.
  • 3) In public recitation the mysteries must be announced in the manner customary in the place; for private recitation, however, it suffices if the vocal recitation is accompanied by meditation on the mysteries.

Consider The Priesthood

BEADS OF JOY 06-26-14
“Consider The Priesthood”
©2014 James Dacey, Jr. OFS
My Friends,

Today I’d like to share the Story of My Life.. Not the song, not the book… Instead let us journey back to 1983 when my mom first introduced me to “Prayer Groups” aka... JESUS... It was then that this love for the Priesthood began in my heart. It was there that I, a self-proclaimed atheist gave my life to my Lord and began to pray about becoming a Priest. Read My Story , click there on My Story and learn all about the beginning days of my Spiritual Journey, basically the beginning days of this Ministry.
Well obviously I didn’t pursue becoming a Priest. Part of me, always will. But what I did do was pursue becoming a Dad like my Dad whom I love and admire. So in some ways I am a Father… LOL… and that is why I gave my life’s desires and passions over to my Lord fully. Back in 1983 I promised Jesus and our Lady that no matter what direction my life went I’d devote my life fully to Him. I am a very proud father of 5 incredible children. I have been most incredibly blessed. I am also a Eucharistic Minister and a Secular Franciscan… A life full of Jesus and our Lady…
My love for the Priesthood shall always remain in my heart. My love for “Priests” will also always remain in my heart. YOU the Priests are my SUPER HERO'S, my Celebrities in this life… THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO… THANK YOU

Fr. Joe is a personal friend of mine...

Reasons why YOU should

consider the Priesthood:
-Be someone's (Spiritual, humble, unselfish, giving) SUPER HERO.. The world needs more men like you -Serving our Lord...
-Become FAMOUS in that -you are the chosen one to BRING JESUS in the Eucharist to us. No one else but you can bring Him to us, directly from the table of blessings that is.
- Be an EXAMPLE for all to see what True Humble Christian Love really is. You are in the front lines of our community. Families and kids and the entire community watch, observe and ultimately are inspired by you.
-You will be following the footsteps of Our Lady, saying YES to bring JESUS to everyone. At the altar many see and many wait as You pray and prepare to bring Jesus to us.
-Through the power of the Holy Spirit you will be teaching us and leading us to JESUS. Your words will be quotes and listened to many times over and over again. God leads your words, leads your explanations and leads your stories… always leading us to Jesus.
-You'll become a very special part of our extended families, we really LOVE our Priests. Since 1983 my heart has been wrapped up in my love for the Priesthood. Since then my heart remains with a most sincere devout love for all our Priests.

Consider this scripture: Mark 10:29-30
“Truly I tell you,” Jesus replied, “no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age: homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields—along with persecutions—and in the age to come eternal life.”
See this scripture on Biblegateway.com

PLEASE NOTE THAT EVERY SUNDAY @2pm EST -On my Facebook wall all are invited to.. PRAY THE ROSARY FOR THE PRIESTHOOD.. -395+ Priests are named personally every Sunday..
