Today's Gospel: John 14:15-21
(The Promise of the Holy Spirit)
“If you love me, you will keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him; you know him, for he dwells with you, and will be in you. "I will not leave you desolate; I will come to you. Yet a little while, and the world will see me no more, but you will see me; because I live, you will live also. In that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you. He who has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me; and he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.”
 My Friends,
Jesus promises us that God will give us a Counselor; someone that no one of this world will see or know. And this Counselor (The Holy Spirit) will be with us Forever. It is through the power and guidance and inspiration of The Holy Spirit within us; that we are able to forge forward serving our Lord even when the world is against us. In my scriptural research in the New Testament, the “Holy Spirit” is spoken of 93 times.
It is also important to note that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Holy Trinity (The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit)… The Holy Trinity is one mystery of our faith that is well worth spending time to understand. See God the Father and Jesus the Son are both physically outside of our bodies… The Holy Spirit that is a part of us, is within us. I would recommend that your research be two-fold in seeing and reading and understanding; both through the Holy Scripture and the Catechism of The Catholic Church, which by the way is technically built fully on scripture, reference points throughout explain that when you spend time in the Catechism. Here is my quick reflection about the Catechism:
Straight from the Catechism, let us look at #80 “Sacred Tradition and Sacred Scripture, then, are bound closely together, and communicate one with the other. For both of them, flowing out from the same divine well-spring, come together in some fashion to form one thing, and move towards the same goal." Each of them makes present and fruitful in the Church the mystery of Christ, who promised to remain with his own "always, to the close of the age".41” The #41 reference you see is referring to Matthew 28:20, which is an excerpt in scripture out of “The Great Commission”.

The Great Commission
Matthew 28:16-20
“Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Other Holy Spirit Scripture:

Joseph Accepts Jesus as His Son
Matthew 1:18-25
This is how the birth of Jesus the Messiah came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit. Because Joseph her husband was faithful to the law, and yet did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly. But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.” All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”). When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife. But he did not consummate their marriage until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus.”

Here is a quick overview of my study:
