My Friends,

Today’s Gospel: John 2:1-5 (Wedding at Cana)
“On the third day there was a marriage at Cana in Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there; Jesus also was invited to the marriage, with his disciples. When the wine failed, the mother of Jesus said to him, "They have no wine." And Jesus said to her, "O woman, what have you to do with me? My hour has not yet come." His mother said to the servants, "Do whatever he tells you."

Reflection:
Today there are 2 options for today’s gospel. Since I already reflected on Luke 24:35-48 on April 5, today I will reflect on the other option John 2:1-5. The complete story about the Wedding at Cana is John 2:1-12, so the video will show the entire scripture. Today’s gospel is also the Second Luminous Mystery.

The Second Luminous Mystery is the miracle at The Wedding at Cana. Our Blessed Mother just knew that that was the time for her Son to begin His ministry and to start for Him to performing His miracles for everyone. This particular miracle certainly blessed the newly married couple; as yes, this miracle blesses all Godly marriages. There is so much in this mystery to share, Jesus is the true vine. I encourage you to embrace the rosary, your whole life like never before, you will be filled with so much joy. Mary always goes to her Son for us, just like she did for this newly married couple.

This is also Jesus’ first miracle and it was requested by His Mother. Mary shows us here how with courage and great faith; she just knew that Jesus would make all things good here for this loving couple on their wedding day. Not for one moment was Jesus going to refuse His Mother’s request, but by her request His love for the couple was revealed. Think of this also:

Never be afraid of loving the Blessed Virgin too much. You can never love her more than Jesus did.” ~St. Maximilian Kolbe

After the love which we owe Jesus Christ, we must give the chief place in our heart to the love of His Mother Mary.” ~St. Alphonsus Maria de Liguori

Wedding at Cana

Pondering these thoughts today: Very curious wonderful miracle. Today we read about Jesus’ first miracle promoted and requested by Our Dear Blessed Mother. Why did she make such a request? Why did it seem like everything was so secret, yet so many there knew exactly what was going on? Think about this my friends: How do we handle prayer requests of our family and friends? Do we tend to them immediately? Do we go to our Lady? Do we quietly request them without making a big deal out of it? I wonder! Today’s gospel is a wonderful scripture filled with so many treasures for us to uncover.

LOVE YOU GUYS !!!!
