Watch - Pray That You Have Strength

Hello Everyone,
Today's gospel is Luke 21:34-36 (Watch at All Times). There is so much more exciting wisdom shared in the gospel today. We have so much joy and so much freedom to be contained within ourselves when we know the Lord, that we should be busting at the seams. Jesus so wants us to be with Him in His Kingdom. Is there anything holding you back from all the love Jesus is giving you? His love is endless and sincere, by devoting ourselves and our lives to Him, we allow Him to embrace us with a full heart knowing that He will never leave us.
The one challenge we have in this life is that our hearts get weighed down by so many sinful habits; and that gets fueled by the fact that this world we live in sees no danger in it. If the world sees you engulfed by greed, they say, your a success. If you drink a lot and party a lot, they say you're such a sociable person. Is there truly anything that's sinful in this world today anymore? Everybody has to be politically correct, so no one is wrong, no one can stand for what they believe. Sad isn't it.
But we as God's children don't have to live that way, Jesus our Lord gave us freedom, and best of all He has freed us from our sin. By doing that He has further freed us from wasting our lives away entangled in passions that will send us to hell for all eternity. Jesus died for us, so that our hearts would be ruled by only one thing: His love and His truth. Let us not fall asleep spiritually and allow these needless, meaningless, wasteful distractions keep us from Jesus, the cost to us will be devastating. Stay alert, stay focused and open your hearts to Him. The Lord knows we struggle, He does promise us that He will never give us more than we can handle and that He is always there for us as we struggle.
We must pray for God's strength and wisdom. Until Jesus returns, we are to expect these challenges and temptations. We have been given the Holy Spirit to help guide us and assist us as we live a life pleasing to God. We must ask the Lord to rekindle that excitement, that joy, that incredible feeling we had when we first began that relationship with Him. It will set your heart and soul on fire only looking to live to please Him.
Dear Lord please help rekindle the fire within our soul for You.
