Annunciation - Changing You

Hello Everyone,

DECADE OF THOUGHT: "Annunciation - Do you sense that God is going to ask something of you; something that can change you ?"

How has your life changed since Jesus has become such a significant part of it? The world we live in is not in tune with our Lord, His message, or His mom. Yes many billions of people around the world believe and yes countless pray, and many countless pray the rosary. But honestly, how many really sense what God is asking of you, something I think one needs to be tuned to. I hope this blog makes sense in such a way, that maybe, if you are not tuned to our Lord's channel, you will be. God has sent us His only Son for a purpose; to save us. It is our purpose in this life to live it for His glory. Once we do that fully and completely, our life becomes complete and fully satisfied with any want, need or desire. Nothing and no one can ever fill the void we all have, except Jesus. He is our purpose, our life, our reason to breathe.

We are all here for a very short period of time. Seventy or eighty or even ninety years is but a flicker of time in the whole essence of eternity. Yet this very little, very critically important spec of time determines the rest of our entire eternity. That thought alone is very insightful and very critical to really understand; if we can only grasp that thought and then live it, our choices and our goals would be different then they are now. Think about it, where does selfishness, and hatred and greed fit into God's plan? How can we justify a life that is selfishly all about ourselves?

My thoughts are we need to reeve up ourselves with excitement and Joy daily; along with my daily Rosary Devotion. Scripture does so much, in ways that really wind me up. Look at and please take the time to really meditate on these verses.

"For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to son-ship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will—" Ephesian 1:4-5

"He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time," 2 Timothy 1:9

"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

Grab hold of these scriptures and so many more like this and live life, like you have never done before. You will be so excited and wound up, you may be considered weird and to happy. I love it. God must be the absolute center of your every thought, and your trust in Him, must be so solid and so firm, without any doubt or question about His will. Even when we don't understand Him, we must be loyal, in knowing that His will is what is best for us, whether we understand it or not. Death and challenges and even "luck" if we call it that, (I don't believe in luck) are bad in our lives, nothing must be looked at negatively. God makes all things for good, in accord to His will.

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28

"Jesus, I trust in You."
