Quiet! Come Out of Him!

Hello Everyone,
Suddenly during the service an outburst occurred by a demon possessed man. What an extraordinary supernatural event just took place here, not only did the demon know Jesus, His name and the power He had to remove Him from the man. But his outward proclamation made it known to all that He wasn't only Lord and Savior of the world, but that He had power over all the underworld and all its evil. He can with His words cast out evil from anyone who was possessed by a demon.
Let's look over this scripture and really see some of the most distinguishable parts of this reading: 1. The demon took evil possession of the man. 2. The demon was unclean, not necessarily impure, but his behavior was from an outside source. 3. The demon knew Jesus by name and His birth origin. 4. The demon knew the power of Jesus and pretty much knew his end was insight. 5. The demon was removed from the man with Jesus' verbal command alone. There was no supernatural ritual in this healing.
Mark 1:21-28 "21 And they went into Capernaum; and immediately on the Sabbath he entered the synagogue and taught. 22 And they were astonished at his teaching, for he taught them as one who had authority, and not as the scribes. 23 And immediately there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; 24 and he cried out, "What have you to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are, the Holy One of God." 25 But Jesus rebuked him, saying, "Be silent, and come out of him!" 26 And the unclean spirit, convulsing him and crying with a loud voice, came out of him. 27 And they were all amazed, so that they questioned among themselves, saying, "What is this? A new teaching! With authority he commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey him." 28 And at once his fame spread everywhere throughout all the surrounding region of Galilee."
The people were absolutely amazed at the power Jesus had over the unclean spirits. His mere words alone cast them out. Mark recorded this most extraordinary event with great detail. Jesus Christ has power over all, good and bad. But in this reading we can clearly see that evil not only knew Jesus but they feared Him. Do we believe that Jesus' word in our lives can change us and transform us? Are we eager to obey God's word in our everyday life? Trusting in Him involves trusting in Him in all things. Sometimes the very things we like aren't necessarily good for us, let us consider Jesus' words when we are in doubt. Search the scriptures, pray for the Holy Spirit to guide you. Scripture is inundated with jewels of wisdom, seek them out.
Jesus Christ is King of Kings and Lord of Lords !
