Hello Everyone,

Another fantastic, insightful, fun day to reflect upon the wisdom of Jesus. The parable we will be reflecting upon is found in Mark 12:1-12 (The Parable of the Wicked Tenants). This is actually a very sad parable, the tenants have everything they need in the vineyard and they take advantage of the fact that; the owner of the vineyard is away. So the vineyard owner sends his son thinking that they will respect him; and what did they do in the end, they killed the owners son. God is the vineyard owner, our earth is the vineyard, and Jesus is the Son sent to us. How can the owner ever trust in us again with anything? We must be loyal to Jesus showing the Father that we indeed trust in Him and we also respect Him. This is why I always say "All Things Jesus, 24/7/365". It is possible to have a family, go to work, pay bills, handle all your responsibilities as best you can and still live your life, "All Things Jesus, 24/7/365".

We have been entrusted with a very special gift, and that gift is Jesus. Jesus didn't come to earth to lose us, instead He came here to die for us, in order to save us. Everything we say, everything we do matters in this life. Keep in mind that all things are known to God, and yes we can clean that slate with a whole hearted sincere confession. But if we do confess and we are sincere, then we shouldn't be back to those same old habits to begin with. At least we shouldn't be back to them on purpose. So if our lives changed because of a sincere, open, honest confession, then we need to move forward and in our repentance become more and more loyal to Jesus. Our lives mean nothing if we live them for ourselves; instead we must live them for the Son of God who gave up His life to save ours.

All that we labor for in this life, that leads us to a stronger faith and a deeper love in Jesus, will not be in vain. We must fully trust in God and His promises to us. This life is but a mere spec of time, and yet its value and importance is immense. Our love and focus must be upon Jesus. Let us not be like the procrastinator who didn't prepare for the floods; when he was clearly told that the high waters were coming and there is time to prepare, and yet he still didn't. As a result of not preparing he perished in the high waters never to be seen again. God has given us the gift of knowledge and awareness, we know why Jesus came here, we know what He did to defeat death for us, we know He died for our sins. We know trusting in Him strengthens us as we are hit with all the battles in this life. So let's fight the good fight, and the good fight wants prayer, not closed fists. Our open hands are joined in our own prayers and our closed hands wrap around another hand so we can pray together.

Let us not forget God has given us the free will to decide on what we want to do. In that, let us know that God trusts that we will turn to Him and trust Him and love Him; and we will love and embrace and honor His Son. For there is no other purpose or point in mankind's existence here on earth if it's not for Jesus. Why else are we here? Consider this list of pointless reasons for our existence: Fancy cars, diamond rings, big rolls of cash, ego's, selfish worldly titles, paychecks, pride, furniture, name brand clothes, to be the wealthiest, to have the biggest, whatever. Come on, so you have all of that, and maybe even more, when you die and we die, our bodies maybe in different style caskets, but our soul still only goes and stands before the same God. So everything prior to that face to face with God, is only of value if we used and had all of nothing or something; and it was used for God's glory. If we used it all for our own glory, then we will lose, and God will know our intentions. Let us not be like the wicked tenants, and further kill God's Son with our own selfishness while we are in the vineyard; instead let us look out for one another and help one another. Jesus must be the true center of our life, our hopes, our thoughts, and our dreams. "All Things Jesus - 24/7/365".

"Jesus, I trust in You."
