My Friends,

Today’s Gospel: Luke 12:8-12 (Here I Am Lord)
“And I tell you, everyone who acknowledges me before men, the Son of man also will acknowledge before the angels of God; but he who denies me before men will be denied before the angels of God. And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of man will be forgiven; but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven. And when they bring you before the synagogues and the rulers and the authorities, do not be anxious how or what you are to answer or what you are to say; for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say."

Reflection:
Do you securely place your hope in Jesus Christ? Today I chose a title and a song that is more or less something we must and should do; give ourselves fully to Jesus. When we give of ourselves willingly and openly to our Lord; we allow Him to direct His Will in our lives in a way that we don’t resist. I know sometimes we don’t always understand God’s Will and we fear giving ourselves like this; but if we only trust in Him with all our hearts, He will only bless our lives in ways that will bring such joy to our lives.

We must have faith, in what Jesus says today, “for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.” That by the power of the Holy Spirit we will be led and guided not only to do His Will; but to get through the challenges of this life. God’s mercy and love comes to us without measure or limits; all we must do is embrace His love and turn away from our sins. Do not let pride or stubbornness separate you from God’s grace. Simply allow the power of the Holy Spirit to fill your heart with God’s love and mercy; your life will never be the same and your love for Him will only get deepen and stronger.

Let us keep in mind that is by the power of the Holy Spirit, we have become sons and daughters of Almighty God. The Holy Spirit has been freely given to us through our open acknowledgment that Jesus Christ is Lord. Let us remember that the Holy Spirit is here to help guide us and show us the way to Jesus our Lord. When we get brave and bold in our faith and we stand up for what we believe; you know that is the Holy Spirit at work in you? The Holy Spirit empowers us to be strong witnesses, not even the threat of death will stop us from speaking the truth. Jesus died so that we may live and spend eternity with Him and the Father in Heaven. We must be strong and confident in the same; knowing that it is the power of the Holy Spirit, that you will find strength and peace at the moment. Trust in the Lord and you will find peace and answers always. See you all tomorrow.
