“Guarding The Good Seed”

My Friends,
Today’s
Gospel:
Matt 13:24-30 (Parable of the Weeds Among The Wheat)
“Another parable he put before them, saying, "The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field; but while men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. So when the plants came up and bore grain, then the weeds appeared also. And the servants of the householder came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then has it weeds?' He said to them, `An enemy has done this.' The servants said to him, `Then do you want us to go and gather them?' But he said, `No; lest in gathering the weeds you root up the wheat along with them. Let both grow together until the harvest; and at harvest time I will tell the reapers, Gather the weeds first and bind them in bundles to be burned, but gather the wheat into my barn.'"

Reflection:
The world we live in is so much like today’s gospel. We have weeds growing and living side by side with wheat. Some are related, some are neighbors, some are friends. Our lives are all entwined, we must have patience and understanding to why we must wait for the harvest. It is then that we can separate the wheat from the weeds at the proper time.

Our lives are all entwined, we must have patience and understanding to why we must wait for the harvest. It is then that we can separate the wheat from the weeds at the proper time.
At that time God will reward each
one of us according to what we have sown and reaped. Did we sow weeds and
poison in this world with hatred and anger and sin? Or did we sow wheat and
share love and mercy and fellowship and forgiveness to all, placing others
first before ourselves, but after we have placed Almighty God above all in our
lives? I’m just a simple man sharing 33 years of insight and faith and
inspiration with as many people as I possibly can before I die or get killed
trying.
I encourage you to be a sower of
the word, share your story with as many others as you possibly can. You say, “I
have no story?” YES, you do!! Share with others why you love Jesus. Share with
others why your faith is so strong. Share with others why you refuse to be
afraid to be faithful to Jesus. Share your love for our Lady. Share your love for the Rosary. That my friend is your story. Share it in
conversation or write it out, either way share it as much as you can.
Here is My Story. It’s been shared worldwide, read by countless thousands around
the world for many years. I hope this encourages you to share YOUR STORY...
