Your Sins Are Forgiven

Hello Everyone,

The miracles of Jesus once again at work healing those who seek Him. Nothing in this life should keep us from receiving God's blessings. Today's gospel can be found in Luke 5:17-26 (The Healing of the Paralytic). Jesus heals us in two very exciting ways: physically when it's in His will for us and spiritually when in our free will we so desire Him and seek Him out.

Sin is the one thing that can cripple us from accomplishing the will in our life that God has for us. Since we are all sinners, and completely stopping sin in our life is impossible; we must do all we can to go to confession as frequently as possible to keep our soul pure. God's forgiveness in the sacrament of confession will greatly cleanse our soul before God. We must not only take care of our physical body, but we must also take care of our spiritual one as well. Sin is the work of the evil one and his kingdom is the one of only darkness. Let us keep our soul clean and pure before the Lord. Frequent confession and frequent communion are good for the soul. Let us live a life pleasing before the Lord, showing Him what's important to us in our lives by doing what it takes.

One of the truly greatest gifts God has given us is His Grace. It is by the Grace of God that we are healed from our sins in confession. It is by the Grace of God that we can resist sin in our life. It is by the Grace of God that an addiction can be conquered. Take some time and read the "Catechism of the Catholic Church", not only will you be greatly blessed by seeing how much scripture is enriched in our faith; but your love and unshakable stand in the Roman Catholic Church will fill you with tremendous joy. Here are two excerpts: (CCC 1996) "Grace is favor, the free and undeserved help God gives us to respond to His call..."(CCC 2003) "Grace is first and foremost the gift of the Spirit who justifies and sanctifies us."

Let us seriously live a life that is pleasing to God. In our prayers let us ask for His Grace and love as we do all we can to live our lives according to His will for us. Let us not allow the burden of guilt or the stubbornness of pride keep us from a most Holy confession. Have no fear, find yourself a priest who sincerely loves the Eucharist and adores our Blessed Mother, and you will be blessed by a loving caring person who will guide you as God so desires for you in your life. Trust in God as you begin to keep your soul clean before the Lord.

Allow the Grace of God to cleanse you, and fill you with abundant joy.
