Let It Be Done For You

Hello Everyone,
In today's gospel Jesus heals two blind men. Praise Jesus for His power and mercy in healing these two suffering men. Today's gospel is Matthew 9:27-31 (The Healing of Two Blind Men). Are we blind when Jesus is near? These two men recognized the power Jesus had to heal, and they had heard that He would be passing by. When He did pass they "followed" and cried out, "Son of David, have pity on me!". Son of David is a messianic title that connected with the healing power of Jesus in the gospel of Mark and Luke, but mostly in Matthew.
Do we have blindness in our lives like these two men had? Are we able to see clearly and are we able to recognize God's power in our lives? These two men eagerly followed Jesus immediately as He passed by. Even though these two men were blind, they just knew that Jesus not only had the power to heal them; but that Jesus' compassion for them would open their hearts to an even deeper love for Him. These two men were spiritually and physically restored and now their hearts were filled with so much joy and love that they couldn't contain it, that is why in the last verse these two men spread the word about Jesus throughout the land.
If there's anything I would hope my blog's share the most; it would be a heart filled with a level of joy that is enormous, just from knowing and loving Jesus every single day of your life. I really hope that so many of you are able to connect, so that you recognize the overflowing JOY that is in your heart and life because of Jesus. No one in the world could ever fill us with joy like Jesus does, no one! Jesus is our eternal Savior, He has come into the world to die for us, to open the very doors of Heaven, so He can bring us home to His Father, our Father. Once we begin to recognize the splendor of His power, the depth of His love, and the truth in His word, our lives will never be the same.
God has always wanted to transform our lives, and set us free from the bondage of our sins and the corruption of this world. He wants us to be with Him in His Kingdom for all eternity. It is in God's love for us, that He has freely given us the gift of faith. Our faith comes alive when we trust in Him, and we live a life obedient to His will for us. Our Lord will never ever turn from us, but we must stay faithful to Him and trust Him. No matter what happens to us in this life; we must trust that in the end we will be with Him for all eternity.
Never be blinded by the obstructions of this world. Always follow Jesus no matter what.
