Hello Everyone,

The Rosary is undoubtedly one of the most loved prayers in the world. Our Lady's example of unselfishness, and obedience to God, teaches us that trusting God in all things; even that which we don't fully understand is so important. Today let us look at "The Joyful Mysteries". It's always exciting and absolutely joyous (pun intended. lol) to share the joy of the rosary, and what better way to do that then by starting with the Joyful Mysteries. Some people really have no clue about the rosary, I know that's hard to believe, others think we are worshipping Mary. I guess the only way you'll ever know, is that you need to spend all your time with Jesus when you are praying your rosary.

The First Joyful Mystery is the Annunciation. It is simply incredible and most encouraging to see how critical it is that we all respond to God's call everyday. We really don't know how important that call will be, trusting in Him is indeed a huge step in our faith. God's will for us, could be something as simple as Him using us as an instrument to get His message out to others. 

The Second Joyful Mystery is the Visitation. This is generosity at its best. Our dear Blessed Mother teaches us here, that being generous to others, no matter what our current state is, is so important. We must be Christ like in all we do. Serving others in need should be a mission we all personally should seek.

The Third Joyful Mystery is the Birth of Jesus. Jesus Christ is born, let us celebrate Christmas all over the world. It is in this mystery that we should reflect on the simplicity of our life. Jesus Christ was born in the most humblest of places, at a level of poverty most of us could never fathom. Yet in that poverty, the joy of this simplicity is immeasurable.

The Fourth Joyful Mystery is The Presentation of Jesus in the Temple. Absolute obedience to the law, Mary and Joseph obeyed the laws of God. There obedience shows us how the simplest of lives focused fully on God can bring us so much joy.

The Fifth Joyful Mystery is The Finding of Jesus in the Temple. We must seek Him out, and do His will. Even if while we do so, it takes us out of the circle of security and familiar surroundings. Sometimes in order for us to do God's will we must leave everything to find Him. The Joyful Mysteries are indeed most Joyous. I pray that you can find that "sweet spot" in your life that in your service and obedience to God you are blessed with an immeasurable amount of joy. Nothing in this world can give us the same abundant joy that is found in God, His word, or His Rosary. Embrace the rosary, allow that chain and those tiny beads to draw you ever so much closer to Jesus.

Spend time praying your rosary everyday.
